Candle making

Vedic Samaj Youth created 100 homemade scented candles for hospital patients at St. Peters Hospital! These candles were made with over 300 crayons, paraffin wax, and various scents!
VSY Easter bunny bash
APRIL 2, 2023
Vedic Samaj Youth hosted a Bunny Bash with egg games, crafts, an egg hunt, and easter egg olympics for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life initiative. The work was tireless, but VSY ended up fundraising $1,600.
VSY Firefighter event
APRIL 29, 2023
Vedic Samaj Youth went to the Warren Firehouse and met around 15 firefighters! The group was surprised to learn that most of them began working there when they were just teenagers, and the firefighter system is completely volunteer based! VSY served bagels and cream cheese/butter, donuts, cinammon rolls, fruit, yogurt, orange juice, and coffee to the firefighters. In turn, they showed VSY around the firehouse, allowed VSY to sit inside a firetruck, and helped VSY members with various firefighter equipment!
