Meet the VSY Team
Founder/President: Aarushi Arora
Hi, my name is Aarushi Arora! I’m an incoming student at Rutgers–New Brunswick, majoring in Computer Science. I’m also the President and Founder of Vedic Samaj Youth (VSY), an organization that helped me develop a passion for community service and taught me the importance of strong leadership and teamwork. I love working out at the gym, volunteering, swimming, listening to music, watching Bollywood movies, going on late-night drives, and shopping.

Hi, my name is Aryaman Arora, and I’m a freshman at Ridge High School. I’m the Co-President of VSY, a nonprofit through delegating tasks, leading the meetings, and finalizing details of fundraisers. Outside of VSY, I like to swim, sing, and play chess!
Vice President: Anvi
Hi, my name is Anvi Palav, and I’m an incoming Stamps Eminence Scholar at The Ohio State University on a full-ride scholarship majoring in Neuroscience on the pre-med track! I’m the Vice President of VSY and have been a part of VSY for the last 3 years! I love to listen to music, hang out with friends, and explore new cities!
Web Developer: Riya Laheja
Hi, my name is Riya Laheja and I am a freshman at Ridge High School. I love to code, debug, and work on websites. I currently serve as the Website Developer for VSY. I have loved being a part of VSY this year as it has taught me important skills such as teamwork and collaboration with peers. Some of my other interests include playing the violin, playing soccer, and watching movies and TV shows as well as spending time with my friends and family!
Treasurer: Advait Garg
Hi, my name is Advait Garg. I’m a freshman at Ridge High School and have been a part of Vedic Samaj Youth for about a year. I currently serve as the Treasurer of VSY. Being part of this organization has taught me valuable lessons and helped refine my skills in management and collaboration, which support me in other extracurriculars both in and outside of school. Some of my hobbies include playing competitive chess, soccer, and basketball, spending time with friends, and traveling or going on trips.
Director of Marketing: Sriya
Hi, my name is Sriya Bhamidipaty and I’m a junior at Ridge High School and the Director of Marketing of VSY. In my free time, I like to play the piano, read, and binge-watch my favorite movies and TV shows.
