Meet the VSY Team
Founder/President: Aarushi Arora
Hi, my name is Aarushi Arora! I’m an incoming student at Rutgers–New Brunswick, majoring in Computer Science. I’m also the President and Founder of Vedic Samaj Youth (VSY), an organization that helped me develop a passion for community service and taught me the importance of strong leadership and teamwork. I love working out at the gym, volunteering, swimming, listening to music, watching Bollywood movies, going on late-night drives, and shopping.
Founder/Co-President: Aryaman Arora
Hi, my name is Aryaman Arora, and I’m a sophomore at Ridge High School. I’m the President of VSY, a nonprofit through delegating tasks, leading the meetings, and finalizing details of fundraisers. Outside of VSY, I like to swim, sing, code, and play chess!
Vice President: Shlok
Hi, my name is Shlok Janani, and I’m a sophomore at Ridge High School. I’m the Vice-President of VSY, a nonprofit with a goal to give back to the community, whether it be through things like youth camps, general volunteering work, or community service!
Outside of VSY, I like to play basketball and spend time with family and friends!
Treasurer: Advait Garg
Hi, my name is Advait Garg. I’m a sophomore at Ridge High School and have been a part of Vedic Samaj Youth for 2 years. I serve as the Treasurer of VSY and being part of this organization has taught me valuable lessons that have helped me refine my skills in management and collaboration. Some of my hobbies include playing competitive chess, soccer, basketball, spending time with friends, and traveling.
Secretary: Rohan
Hi, my name is Rohan Arya and I’m a sophomore at Ridge High School. I am currently serving as the Secretary at VSY, and I have been a member of VSY for the last 2 years. By being in VSY, I have enhanced my skills in communicating with a team, collaboration, and much more. Outside of VSY, I enjoy riding my bike, coding, swimming, and traveling.
Director of Volunteer Coordination: Riya Arya
Hey, my name is Riya Arya, and I’m a freshman at Ridge High School. I’ve been a member of VSY for about six months. I’m the Director of Volunteer Coordination. Outside of VSY, I like biology, crocheting, and coding.
