Vedic Samaj Youth College Admissions Panel

Vedic Samaj Youth hosted yet another college admissions panel with high school students, all of whom went to Ridge High School. The panelists were Rebecca Davidov, incoming international relations and economics major at the University of Michigan--Ann Arbor; Dhristi Raval, PharmD candidate at Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy; and Annika Malhotra, incoming computer science student at Cornell University. This event impacted over 50 students in our community!
Vedic Samaj Youth Chess Camp

Vedic Samaj Youth held a chess camp for students in elementary and middle school! With a little over 13 students, we held a dynamic chess camp with chess strategies and rules as well as a tournament with candy and a gift card as a prize. We donated $300 to the Nora Project, and a representative from the Nora Project will come speak to VSY about the initiative and how our donation will help their cause.
